My husband Peter is a C6/7 Quadraplegic . To have been given the opportunity to stay in well thought out and luxurious accommodation in such serene surroundings was a special treat. Attention to detail and the generosity of the facilities made for an easy, safe and thoroughly enjoyable stay. This was our third trip to Shady Gums and we will be back again! This is the perfect place for us to get away and enjoy exploring all the Grampians has to offer. We've been there in summer, winter and spring and Shady Gums was perfect for all weather conditions. We love watching the birds and the native wildlife from the amazing bay window. My husband is wheelchair dependent and loves the freedom Shady Gums offers him.
Shady Gums has been an absolutely lovely place to stay, a beautiful and comfortable location. Our children really enjoyed feeding all the wonderful birds that came to visit. Shady Gums is presented beautifully and has everything you need to enjoy the Grampians in comfort and style. Close to town and convenient to stay with children, kangaroos at your doorstep and playground within walking distance. Thanks so much for welcoming us to such a beautiful place, we look forward to staying again!
Beautiful location, great for hiding from the cold with a fire, very close to town, well stocked kitchen. Very accessible if you in a wheelchair.
