We have eaten at Shady Cliff for over 10 years, and always enjoyed it. However this past weekend was a great let down. Hours changed drastically, but that's livable. The biggest disappointment was the once extensive menu. It has been dwindled down to 2 apps and 3 meal options - chicken tenders, burgers, and catfish. In the past, burgers were fantastic. My husband's $18 burger was clearly a cheap frozen patty and far over-cooked, and the "meat" on my sliders was thinner and smaller than a Krystal or White Castle patty! Very d... read more
Restful place
We stayed in a nice little room and loved the lake views. Everything was clean, ac worked nice. For being in the literal middle of nowhere, it offers a great way to access the lake. The people were super nice and helpful but it is a big place and you can only staff so many people for a place that size. Given the constraints, I felt the service was very good. We ate at the restaurant and the service and food was awesome. I highly recommend!!! 7/19/25 We had the privilege of spending the night in the condo which was awesome. The room was great and the service we received was even better. Thank you
