So pleased with this place! Absolutely adorable cabin, decorated so cute. The cabin is well supplied with everything to make you feel comfortable. Quiet area in upper Ruidoso. Very close to Inn of the Mountain God's. I HIGHLY recommend Shadow Mountain Lodge for your stay in Ruidoso.
We stayed here over my birthday weekend with my husband and our two dogs, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was very clean, cozy, and nicely decorated, and we especially loved the fireplace—it added such a warm, relaxing touch. The location was perfect, close to everything and in a great area for walking the dogs. We didn’t encounter any issues during our stay. Spent 3 nights during Easter weekend. Great accommodations! Beautiful landscape lighting. Very friendly owner and very helpful.
My husband and I made a last minute reservation for a cabin for the night. The manager was very pleasant. The cabin was lovely. It was quiet and peaceful. The covered porch, two-sided gas fireplace, and the 2 person jacuzzi only added to the loveliness. The decor is country cabin. There is a small 2 burner stove, a good sized small refrigerator, a coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, and plenty of towels, and washcloths.
