Perfect weekend escape for my wife's birthday at the Ladybug cabin! Karen was an excellent host, and the location is great, perfectly situated between Luray and Skyline Drive. Peaceful, relaxing, and a truly an "escape" from the day-to-day.
Absolutely unforgettable! Shadow Mountain Escape Cabins provided the perfect backdrop for an incredible 60th birthday celebration. Karen and Ralph were genuinely the best hosts you could ask for—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, they went above and beyond to make our weekend special. JUST DO IT! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! Karen and Ralph are incredibly welcoming and just the loveliest couple you'll ever meet. This place is absolutely stunning the love and thoughtfulness brought to life here is overwhelming. The special touches and attention to detail are unsurpassed! THE MOST MAGICAL EXPERIENCE, everything we never knew we even wanted! Unforgettable!
Upon being greeted at check in I was aware this was going to be a great experience and immediately started with 5 stars. I wanted to wait until the end of our stay to actually write about it. Some places like this have great pictures, but the reality is different. Not the case with Shadow Mountain. All the furniture is authentic and the accommodations are pristine. Great place for the wife and I to come relax and get away from the NCR. Very pleased with our stay!
A little slice of paradise on earth! We plan to return to SME in every season. Karen and Ralph are wonderful hosts, and the welcome treats on our arrival were absolutely delicious.
