Once again, (third visit), Karen and Ralph went above and beyond hosting out long weekend getaway. From delicious home made goodies awaiting us upon arrival to evening fires in the courtyard, we lacked for nothing! We stayed in the Bumblebee cabin this go around. All cabins are nicely appointed with all the amenities you can think of. Kitchens are well stocked, beds are super comfortable, and romance permeates the spaces. If you are looking for a nature getaway in one of the most beautiful areas of the country, you have to stay here. Karen and Ralph have curated the most amazing, romantic, and magical place to celebrate any occasion. I planned a surprise proposal with my now fiancé, and Karen went above and beyond in helping me make as special as possible. Do yourself a favor and stay with them, because you won't just get a quiet getaway, you will get a true escape.

So first off you have to know this place is So amazingly beautiful. The scenery is breathtaking and the host is absolutely one of the nicest I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Charming German cottage (The Bumblebee), very clean. The only bathroom is down two flights of wooden stairs from the bedroom. The bed in the bedroom was so very, uncomfortable and hard, our bodies hurt getting up in the morning. For a couples only place, the bed should be one of the most comfortable places. Nice, "shared bar area", with the other cabin renters, shared outdoor eating space. We were told to not open the windows, due to bugs.
