Cute Stuff Shades plus has a lot of cute stuff and gags. I have gotten Hello Kitty stuff here. There are stickers, trash cans, cards, stuffed animals amongst other things. If you like cutsie Japanese things, you can get paper, bags and stickers here. It is hard to locate, make sure you look down and you enter by going down stairs.

Toy Store Shades Plus is like a joke shop/Toys-R-Us cram into one store. From Hello Kitty toys to the fake chocolate, Shades Plus is crammed with toys and practical jokes. There are posters, T-shirts, sunglasses, candies, and costumes. For Halloween, this place is always very crowded and to navigate through the store is like trying to push your way out of the door on a crowded subway in rush hour traffic. From face paint to angel wings to schoolgirl costumes, this store has the answer to your Halloween needs.

best shop ever i love this little rinky-dink store that is below ground on thayer street. it sells all those things that you alwasy wondered about where they were being sold, like whoopie cushions and fake vomit. they also have the most random collection of tshirts for sale. everything is dirt cheap, too. i love to come in here and look around. it makes for a great selection of gag gifts.

not your average shades store An interesting little store located on thayer that is good for fun gifts and novelty items. If you are looking for shades you can get some wacky sunglasses, but don't get fooled by the name - you don't want to go here for an everyday pair of shades. Good place to go if you want some fun little toys.
