This retreat was exactly what I needed at exactly the right time in my life. Here again with another review, This Is Michaela (Kk) Holdman. What I experienced here was completely unethical. The counselors here should be held accountable for their actions and for how patient care is completely at the bottom of their priority. Clients mental health was the last thing that the therapist cared about. I witnessed several patients mistreated, including myself. I went for a 1 week intensive on July 2020. It was recommended that I stay for the residential program. I was offered a scholarship, which I was very grateful for. When I was moved to the residential side, the first thing we did was attend a AA meeting. We sat at a table in the middle of the room to eat lunch, while the “regulars” to the meeting sat on chairs around the wall.
