Shadeau is the real thing! The bread here is out of this world. The bakery is unpretentious and straight-forward. Walk in and smell what's cooking, and right in front of you see the ovens with bread being baked. Pasties are delicious looking; I had a cherry thing and a muffin (both great!). The bread, though, is hearty and natural and very reasonably priced. I bought a baguette, a chibatti loaf, and an oatmeal loaf. Everyone raved when I served it as toast. I'll be coming back often!
