I booked an appointment for an all-over color, but when I arrived, the stylist told me I only needed a toner. I trusted her professional opinion, so I agreed—even though the result wasn’t quite what I wanted, I accepted it. However, when it came time to pay, she charged me $105, saying it was already a discount from the original all-over color price of $110. I cannot speak on everyone at this salon but if you go here DO NOT schedule with Becky. Especially if you are not used to a salon environment. I feel like Becky took advantage of me since I was open about this being my first time in a salon and over charged me. I just wanted highlights and showed her pictures and she said she would do it for me. Love, love, love my new cut and highlights. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted, but Carolyn explained the options and techniques to me and made some great recommendations. The vibe was super relaxed and just very friendly. Highly recommend Carolyn.
Shade Salon is GREAT! They did hair and makeup for Bride, 7 Bridesmaids, and Mother of Bride. They are easy to work with and listen to what you want. They are great!
