Glad to know Shackleford is a part of our community, they have been for as long as I can remember. I can't tell you how many family members they have helped us make arrangements for in my life time alone. The care shown by staff at their facilities in time of great sorrow are excatly the type of folks we need in our community. They pay attention to every small detail listening to each concern and made sure it was done excatly as we asked.

Shackelford served my family, when I lost my Dad in 2024. The staff was kind, showed care and patience. They did great with his preparation and all-around services.

I lost my son in July 2024 and our family was totally devastated. My life especially will never be the same. Austen Glen Ray was and is my son, my best friend, and even though he was 29 and bigger than me he was my Lil' Feller. Having to rap my mind this loss and try to keep composed long enough to make arrangements was the most difficult thing I've ever done in my life. Jameson and Rachel were outstanding ! The way they made me and my sisters feel and the advice they gave us was tremendous . They are definitely doing what they were intended to do in life . I was so impressed

Rachel, Kristi, and Jamieson (and those were just the Shackelford staff I came into contact with) did a fantastic job! They were there every step of the way to make sure that we were taken take of us at a time when everything was running together and we weren’t quite sure which way was up. Extremely caring people! You never want to have to recommend something like a funeral home, but our family would recommend this one.
