We recently completed a project with Shack Built as the General Contractor. As a sub-contractor, we work with many many different GCs throughout the city. I can say that this project went smoothly and without a hitch. The on-site superintendent, Chris, was informative, communicated very well with his wants and needs and set obtainable goals throughout the project. The entire ShackBuilt team was so professional and great to work with. They absolutely delivered the project on time and within budget. They did a great job cleaning up at the end of day and communicating expectations along the way! Would highly recommend.

Converted 1950s bathroom to updated, age in place bathroom with glam! Also added new single unit washer/dryer on main floor. Love look and function of new bathroom. Crew great to work with and listened to my concerns. Answered my questions as they arose. Love outcome of remodel.

After researching remodelers, I knew Shack Built would be the right choice to update my primary bath/bedroom plus 2 bedrooms and they exceeded my expectations. At the initial exploratory meeting with Derick and Cara, they ‘listened’, asked in depth questions and they promptly provided a proposal addressing all areas of concern. Once the project started, Derick provided a very detailed checklist of the renovation process for the working crews. I’ve never left a poor review in my life. But this was definitely worth it after the phone call we just had with this company. Absolutely terrible customer service on the phone with their sales/admin person. Clearly inexperienced and unprofessional. If this is how they handle new client intake, I’d be hard pressed to believe they can deliver on their work.
