We renovated our basement and couldn’t be happier with our experience Shack Built provided. Chris, project manager, and Cara, designer, were both extremely professional, detail oriented, and went above and beyond to deliver on our project. In addition, they were friendly and easy to work with. We can tell that it’s a great company based on their relationship with other contractors and high level of integrity. We highly recommend!

I had a great experience getting a quote from Derick. He is very detail-oriented and takes a building science approach, which I really appreciated. His process was thoughtful, organized, and pressure free, and he took the time to walk through options in a way that was easy to understand. I’d definitely consider working with him on a future project.

We recently finished our basement and engaged Shack Built for the project. We were focused on working with a design-build group that would stick to a schedule and work within our budget – these guys knocked it out of the park. This company only works with the highest quality trades – carpenters, painters, etc. who were all extremely professional and efficient. Best decision I made in 2025 was to remodel my kitchen & pantry! If you are considering doing the same, don't wait. Putting the job in the right hands in the first place is paramount. Derick, Cara, and the Shackbuilt team were awesome. Your only regret will be wondering what took you so long to pull the trigger. This is the year - do it!
