FULL-TIMERS BEWARE! On 9/28, I contacted Shabbona Creek RV about a holding tank repair (warranted by a company with no dealers in this area). I was told by PRESTON they were booked into November and were NOT willing to shuffle the schedule. I emphasized that, as full-timers, we live in our RV, needed urgent repairs and planned to head south soon. I drove all the way to Illinois to purchase a RV from the owner/salesman and what a joke on me that turned out to be. Talked to like I have never been talked too. If a man was with me he would have decked this guy. He figured what's she going to do leave without the camper after driving 700 miles to get it. He was right in the end I took it home anyway. Horrible - black water pouring out of the bedroom wall, the camper filled with Propane, no alarm went off, it could have killed us. They (Tom) just blew it off. He did issue me a full refund but by the time I got home (20 minutes later) he had it back up for sale and lied saying it has no leaks! The wall has 3 feet of water in it while he's posting that comment! I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.
