When it was discovered that I had prostate cancer a friend also inflicted suggested I try radiation therapy at the New York Proton Center. Dr. Shaakir Hansan set me up with 20 treatments. I have never seen such knowledgeable, dedicated and kind doctors, nurses, and technicians in my life. I experienced no side effects from the therapy.
My experience at the NY Proton Ctr was unique. My first conversation w/Dr. Hasan was warm & professional. He explained every question I had in detail: what to expect, during & after treatment. He is very knowledgeable in the field of prostate cancer, & he & his staff treated me with the utmost care & respect. I would definitely recommend the NY Proton Ctr to my family & friends.
