This woman makes soul food better than I grew up with. She deserves a full brick and mortar restaurant!
If you're looking for home-cooked style soul food this is the place. I got a giant order of beef tips over rice, sweet potatoes, cabbage, and a homemade cornbread muffin for $19.50. definitely enough for two meals. This is in a gas station that is right next to the 4th Street McDonald's on the feeder road. Cash only.
The burger was absolutely delicious! It was fresh, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The ingredients tasted great, and the portion size was just right. Service was quick and the staff was very friendly. I had a great experience and would definitely come back again!
