Went home to Martinsville from FL for a visit. Sgt Peppers was on my must have list during this visit; it'd been years since I've eaten there. Everything we ordered was delicious! The chicken livers were actually much better than years ago! Sgt Peppers was always a regular for my family back in the day. Now they'll be a regular every time I visit!
We ordered 2 thighs, 1 leg fried chicken it was good. 4 chicken tendies. 2 Cole Slaw it was fresh and tasted good. We got some Japa-Mango and Hot Honey sauce they we good. Then we got a large Chicken Liver. Horrible! The livers were dry because they were overcooked. Too much breading Just plain bad. I wasted money there and will think twice going to Sgt Peppers again. Jarod and his team catered my dad's Celebration of Life, and the food was wonderful. Guests could not stop raving about the fantastic chicken, the incredible sauces, and the amazing kickin' coleslaw. Having delicious leftovers for our out-of-town guests was a huge bonus, though it disappeared fast! Thank you for making a difficult day easier and so successful.
