Do not have an emergency in Lakeland. The ER is understaffed to the minimum possibility (not the staff's fault they have to cope with this). SGMC will then lose your records so their billing charges you the full inflated rate and claims they were never given the insurance card that was Xeroxed by the nice staff while you sat waiting for care. Sat and waited 3 hours just for a covid and strep throat test. Whilst we were waiting they were discussing lunch instead of getting the tests done.
