Very poor last few visits. Has been my local chippy for 10 years now but have watched it slowly go downhill. Portion sizes are tiny, large chips you get about 10 chips in the box. Curry/gravy half filled, and the fish is now astronomical for the portion size. I understand business costs have jumped through the roof, but not even giving adequate portions for things like chips is an own goal. Went down hill it use to be a lovely chippy sausage had been stood a while in the heater no taste however chips and curry I couldn’t fault nice and fresh, rude member of staff not very welcoming nor friendly shame as used to be a nice chippy
I really can't fault the food, I ordered a chicken fillet. Chips with gravy , everything was lovely, I could have ate it 3 times over especially the chicken.. 😋 Ov I corrected her in a decent proper manner, she replied saying I had ordered a chicken burger , I accepted it & apologised (even though I knew she was wrong)....
