Dr Emily is a privilege!!! For what I thought would be a very emotional body politics implanon removal, was one of the best medical experiences I’ve had. Personable, humane, and professional. Gives me hope for medicine’s future. Also bulk billed for concession so walked out the door!! Great.
Saw Dr Jun Jung for an Implanon insertion 🤙 He was super patient, calm, gentle and happy to answer all my questions; procedure was minimally uncomfortable and the insertion site is healing well with very little bruising, 4 days post. Was probably the best possible experience I could have had for this procedure. Defs recommend SHVic - everyone Ive interacted with at the clinic has been lovely and warm, and their rates are way more accessible compared to other clinics i considered. thank you Dr Jung 🌼
Even booking an appointment in advance I waited over 40 minutes past my appointment time with no update, completely unprofessional. What should’ve been a quick visit turned into a frustrating experience. Wouldn’t recommend unless you have time to spare.
I got an IUD here, they made sure I got every information needed to the procedure. I was aware that it could be quite painful, it was very bad twice for one moment, but both the nurse and the GP were very good with me, talking me through everything, making sure I’m as comfortable as possible. This place should have better rating, some people give very harsh 1 stars for some inconvenience that is not even up to the clinic.
