I've waited 6 months to submit a review. I'm glad I did since I've seen a number of one star ratings over the last year which coincides with new ownership. I'm the homeowner. I set up the job with Seward and the people I hired went to get the stone. Seems there was some type confrontation while picking up. I still haven't gotten a full account of what took place. We have had several sand and gravel deliveries from Seward. Recently we had several truckloads of washed river sand for our riding arena. The sand is wonderful. The quality is much better than we had where we used to live. The staff are great to work with. The price was reasonable.
Great people and company. I'll be calling them for any of my future gravel needs.
I have bought 3 loads of crusher run for my driveway on a single axle flatbed trailer with a tarp. The first time I asked for one yard and the loader operator dropped almost two yards into the trailer before I could stop him. I told the operator it was way too much, I asked him to take some off, he said he couldn't due to liability. I weighed out at 4700 pounds on a trailer that was only supposed to take 2900 pounds. With a vehicle that was only supposed to tow 3500 pounds with 350 pounds of tongue weight. This load ended up... read more
