I was there when you tried to return the packaged batting. I shop Sew Worth It on a regular basis and love this shop and service from the staff. I heard the whole conversation, you made sure of that, and you had purchased the batting 3 months ago. These wonderful independent businesses are not your personal savings bank. When you purchase an item, it doesn't mean you can return anything you don't use while you are in florida for three months that you didn't use. On January 17, 2014, I purchased fabric and supplies to make a quilt for our granddaughter's high school graduation this spring. At that time, I spent in excess of $100 which included fabric, thread and batting. Because of time limitations in finishing my quilt here before returning to Michigan, I sent my quilt out to be quilted. The quilter preferred using 80/20 batting rather than the Warm & Natural I had purchased when buying the fabric. I have shopped Sew Worth It many times, even though I own a shop and watch this shop for the best products & classes. This truly is the best shop around.

I have to hardily disagree with the first reviewer. Yes, this is a high priced store but it is full of beautiful designer fabric. If you compare prices with those of other quilting stores in the area or online, you will find that their prices are quite competitive. I was greeted by an associate when I entered the store and invited to browse at my leisure. while this shop has beautiful fabrics, it is very over priced and the sales people are cold and unfriendly. I browsed for about 20 minutes and no one came to ask if I needed help. their sewing machines are thousands of dollars and they are not interested in you unless you have a lot of money to spend. There are other shops in the Sarasota area.. in .. go there if you want beautiful fabric and help.
