At first I had a horrible experience. Who ever the lady that works in the morning is was rude. I came with a group of fellow marines and she treated them like they were nothing she was making fun of them because of their rank. She lied about some of the regulations to them. But we came back to pick up at night and the girls at night were more helpful and a lot nicer. They did not disrespect them as she did. I highly suggest to come to that store during the evening when she is not working.

This is a mixed review because the girl in the morning; Mary, or Maryann or whatever answered all my questions and got the process going.. Very professional. However, when I picked up my stuff in the afternoon, the girls were carrying on with personal conversations. Some language too. But all in all, I am satisfied with the work.

DO NOT USE!! WARNING TO ALL MILITARY... DO NOT USE! I took my medals in this place to be mounted, they charged me almost 80.00 to have them all "re-done", when I picked them up, they re-used the previous companies work and just added to it! Also I could see they were not with in military regulations, I made a comment to the fact and the lady at the desk said they only mount to regulation. My go-to spot for alterations. Unlike the other reviews on this business, I haven't had any issues with poor customer service. On numerous occasions I have asked them for alterations to be done the next day, they have done so with no "rush" fee as stated by one of the other reviews. I have also never had an issue with them changing the price.

Poor Management I know there aren't many options in Jacksonville, but I would definitely try to stay away from this store. Sew-Rite has extremely poor management skills and customer service. I asked the girls working in the front about having my jacket fixed and no one seemed to know the answer.... or who to contact to find out an answer; also- once I walked in to the store and there was a lady screaming about her husband on the phone, and last but not least- they've messed up my ticket on two different occassions and I WAS ... read more

Stay away- poor staff and customer service is a zero! bad customer service, unknowledgeable staff, unable to give set price and honor that price, obviously won't call if the price goes on the alteration. I have used this place two times- today was the last. I took in 3 shirts and one coat to have patches put on and then three pants to have a basic hem placed in them. Best alterations in Jacksonville! I used to work there and we always had customers come to us to fix the mistakes that other seamstresses had made and had overcharged them for. Never once did I see anyone pay more for a service than was reasonable. Perfectionism is something most alterations shops in town are not at all concerned with and are lacking. great place I had to have new rank sewn on my husband's uniform in 2 days. I thought I'd never get it done, but Sew-Rite did it in one day!! THey did a great job and FAST. Highly recommend them.
