My family and I had a bad accident and the citizens and EMS professionals were absolutely amazing. I would love to give a kudos to the lady medic who made my wife laugh as she was trying to get all of my kids Autism comfort items, THANK YOU. What a nightmare this was. I woke up in the middle of the night with a heart rate of 155 and breathless. I instantly knew it was sepsis as Ive had it before with a silent uti and I thought I had caught this one in time having just been prescribed antibiotic pills but unfortunately not. After being t boned by someone going at least 50 mph, they stood & watched the police & the guy who hit me get me out of the car, then made me walk to the ambulance with several broken bones. They did nothing but give me an outrageously expensive ride.
Called for 10/10 abdominal pain, when they arrived they treated me like an idiot & convinced me to just drive myself all the way to Knoxville instead of LeConte. Hope I make it, I don’t feel fit to drive 45 minutes, that’s why I called an ambulance 7 minutes away from the LOCAL hospital.
Racism nor ignorance has no place in this world , the actions of in the night of Thursday 12/18/24 disgusting plz have better people we understand your dealing with sick patients but just because someone isn’t your “kind” they don’t deserve your hate nor mistreatment I commend your partner for not letting you rotten his mind!
