Just stayed at the lodge for a send consecutive year and what a downhill spiral the Lodge has taken. I was not aware of the ownership change that had taken place until I read the multiple recent bad reviews. The rooms were outdated even last year but it is the management and atmosphere that has evaporated. It’s all a cash grab now, the manager walks around with a megaphone disturbing guests trying to upsell paid water-sport activities. We had such a great time at Severn Lodge in Ontario. Dave, the entertainment manager, was amazing and made sure everyone was having fun. The kids club was awesome too. The staff there were super friendly and focused on kids safety. Kids always had fun things to do and we knew they were safe. The food was really tasty with nice options for both kids and adults. We’ll be back next year.

This is our second year at Severn Lodge. Last year we had an epic time, other than old outdated accommodation ( it’s clean and comfy though), everything was excellent. The lodge changed management/ owner this year. Lots things changed- not for the good. The kids activities were a highlight last year, this year was meh… lunch was buffet, breakfast was the same for the whole week. Dinner was better in my opinion.
