Michael, the owner of Seven Winds Flutes, recently attended and presented a workshop for the Kansas City Flute Association, a group that I am on the board of. His presentation was educational and everyone in attendance commented on how much they learned about the history of indigenous American flute playing and the beauty of the instruments he creates. His flutes are truly works of art! I highly recommend Seven Winds Flutes to anyone looking for a Native American style instrument.

I contacted Michael at Seven Winds about a flute I had that was not made correctly and did not play right. The flute meant a lot to me as the wood for the flute came from a century-old Walnut tree on a property we sold a few years back. In other words it had a lot of sentimental meaning and I was sad that it did not play correctly when I picked it up from the original maker. I was able to join the SpiritTalkers Flute circle last year using one of Mike's flutes in the key of A. I have never been disappointed and have received many complements on the look and sound of this flute. He is truly and artist and cares about both the flute and the person buying it.
