A hidden picnic area up in the Jamez mountains. Very clean and no people. We love it there.
Day use only, not a campground anymore. Has a vault toilet.
Beautiful area, but it can be tree to tree people. We choose to hike deep into the canyon to get away from the crowds.
located at the end of a rough dirt road 1.7 miles from pavement, but with a few tables and a 2-place toilet, yay. The 5 mile Rio Cebolla (seh-boy-a, Spanish) Trail starts here, out and back and almost completely flat. A pretty place north of a fish hatchery.
