I first found out about them on WeddingWire, where many clients have recommended their services for events - including weddings, engagements, parties, and get-togethers. Seven Ivory Brides was recommended to us by one of the vendors. He kept emphasizing how awesome she is. I was hesitant thinking I'm capable of managing things on my own with help if family and friends. Finally I thought, let me consult with her and see if having a wedding planner would even be beneficial for us. My fiancé and I met with the lead planner and hired her right away. She was nice but on the day of the event, my mom and aunt had to take over. She did not really do anything, but put my decor on the tables. She didn't even stay until the end of the event! She said she had a "team" to help her and it just was a young teenager who was just there- The coordinator was clueless the day of the event. She also tends to get snappy at times. I spent $900 on this. Not worth it! I should've just paid my mom! Avoid this event planner at all costs- you will be doing all the work! 😫
