Don't expect to get any real type of withdrawal medication until 24 hours after you come in. I came in at exactly 8:30am today, didnt get evaluated or a bed until after 1. So I was sitting in the waiting room for 3 hours even though I was first in the door. On top of that I hadn't done any dope since 1pm prior to that morning so I came through the door already withdrawing but the nurses either assumed I was lieing or just didnt care. It was still Centerstone when I visited. My experience was average. This is actually high praise coming from me. The wait was longer than my book, and other people waiting kept trying to engage me in conversation. Not that there is anything wrong with that.. They took me back and got my insurance info, then proceeded to take my photograph and money. I was led downstairs, told to piss in a cup, sat there for a bit, and then I was called over-- I was planning to go into the outpatient program that didn't exist, but I had been ... read more
This place was the corner block of my foundation of my life. I had been many places before that always said they would go to any lengths to help me but this place actually did.
