I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Lee at Lotus Rheumatology. She is a skilled, compassionate physician who genuinely cares about her patients' outcomes. What impressed me most was her willingness to go to bat for me on drug coverage and insurance issues that felt impossible to resolve on my own. She was persistent, informed, and made sure I got access to the treatment I needed. I saw Dr. Lee several years ago at a different facility. I have no idea who this wonderful caring doctor that is that people are reviewing, because when I saw her she was cold and rude with the worst bedside manner I’ve ever encountered. She belittled me at every visit always insisting that my pain was not caused my anything other than me being “fat.” She refused to listen to family history or acknowledge my symptoms. What a miracle my experience has been with Lotus and Dr. Lee. I had tried to get in with other Rheumatologists for my condition but they all turned me down. The unique structure of Lotus allowed me to get an appointment almost instantly. Dr. Lee is the most kind and caring doctor I have ever seen. She has truly worked miracles for me! She always takes her time during appointments and never makes you feel rushed. Went to Dr. Lee after bloodwork showed some concerning items (I was referred by my primary doctor). I had previous bloodwork done.and had upload those results to the portal. I asked about certain levels being high and was told that Labcorp isn’t accurate with their testing. More bloodwork was ordered. I had hopes after talking to them that I had a diagnosis, was put on meds and told to come back in about 6 weeks. They also wanted MRI’s on my knees to help with treatment.
