A warning about this company! I have found Setter to be a very dishonourable group. I can only agree with other negative reviews about them. They claim to be a home manager for a fee. The truth is they will hide from their clients the true cost to have repairs and work done. See attached picture of them warning me in email not to tell the property owner (their client) the true repair cost. I was contacted by them through Homestars. Never got back to me about a quote regarding a floor repair. If they can't do the job, just say so. Will not deal with them in the near future.
This service is a complete joke. I signed up for their setter home services program, which yielded me nothing. Then I went and tried to schedule services, with nothing but failures. Another time I used the services, they never billed my credit card that was on file, and a year later came after me for payment. Whats the point of using an app and putting your credit card on file if the payments are not automatic?
I am very disappointed with their service. Had a plumber come fix a leak and within 2 weeks the problem was back. Contacted them again but all I am getting is empty promises and recently they choose to ignore my emails. I will be escalating this. I would not recommend their services.
Couldn't deliver what was needed. Had to unsubscribe twice.
