You will never meet someone like Sutsko, The owner and artist/professional of Setsu. She’s one of a kind. She is extremely talented and delightfully personable. She’s an unbelievably hard worker with stacks of skills. By far and away the best haircut and color I’ve ever received. Nothing even touches it. She did lots of layers on long hair, varying types of full highlights and gives three or four different types of head massages throughout out the process. Setsu is Carroll Gardens best kept secret! I vaguely described what I wanted and she exceeded my expectations - it was like she read my mind. She cut with precision, left it long like I asked and she took her time. The shampoo and head massage can’t be beat. My new hairdresser for sure!

I feel so lucky to have stumbled across Setsuko’s salon, walking around the neighborhood. She gives the most wonderful scalp massage and is so fun and easy to talk to. Setsuko gave me a wonderful haircut, and the most amazing color. It is so difficult to find someone who can do it all- but Setsuko can!
