Impressively poor bedside manner and disinterest in addressing the reasons for the appointment. Who knows whether it was because he's just another doctor beat down by the system but I couldn't have a lower opinion. Had no general perspective of the real issue, no ideas, no comprehensive understanding of the other factors that could be affecting me. Basically looked at the computer taking a few notes the whole time (the 7-8 minutes he spent in the room). No executive function.
Dr . Cohen bedside manners are bellow average. He can be perceived As condescending.He didn’t spend time to explain the condition. The worse part, he performed Endoscopy Without Proper Consent and no indications . His only concern is to get higher reimbursement rate for doing procedures. He does not care about patients .
I went to see Dr. Cohen for a second opinion at the Duke Clinic in Raleigh, NC. He walked into the room along with the SLP person Dan Norwood. Not sure of who Dan is because my records show that I should have been seen by SLP Faye. Dr. Cohen, did not identify himself. Dr. Cohen, checked my ears and my throat and, informed me of the proper throat drops to take. He left the room. He came back in after Dan was done scoping me.
