Brilliant concept. Fine dining, both cooked and served at table by the students. Six courses, all perfectly marvellous and great value. Plus cocktail trolley if you want!

Booked a table for lunch to celebrate an 80th Birthday and 60th Wedding Anniversary. Poor service, asked 3 times for bread, we’d finished our starter before it arrived. Prawn cocktail served in glasses and it was impossible to cut up whole lettuce leaves. Meat pie’s pastry so hard it couldn’t be cut, let alone eaten. Ordered coffee, took more than 30 minutes to arrive having chased it up 3 times. Set in a beautiful building with a lovely interior. The food is very good, and exceptional value at �15 for a 3 course set menu. Considering the cost of eating out these days in the UK even somewhere quite mediocre, this is remarkably inexpensive for such high quality food. The service is very friendly, although slightly chaotic - but for me this just adds to the charm.
