Wanted to open a Chequing account and they wanted my SIN #? I then asked why as it is not law unless you are collecting interest or recieving dividends. They then told me do a credit check for opening an account.
Horrible service. Don’t ever apply for a loan here. Or consolidate anything. If it wasn’t for the lower interest rates we would change banks. Not happy at all. Absolutely the worst institution ever.
Terrible customer service and atrocious app I can't even check my instant balance anymore
Used to be great here. Not any more. Absolutely the most horrendous customer service from the front counter staff. Why are the most unfriendly people the face of your business? Send them to a course. Prime example of why in person banking is going the way of the dodo. If it wasn't for the pain of changing multiple entity's depositing to my account I would change banks. Will goto another bank next time or switch. The tellers do everything they can to gate guard the manager. Brutal.
