After dealing with a flooded basement due to excessive ground water, our insurance company sent out service master from Edmonton (an almost 3 hour drive to our house) for “emergency help”. We had expected a plumber to fix the issue as water was still actively flowing in but instead got a restoration company. Although they did a great job in cleaning up the flood and preventing any mold from forming, that was where the positive experience ended. Been waiting for over 2months from when I originally arranged them as my contractor for a flood of my entire basement. I have been living with mold this entire time getting sick and when I originally hired them it was on the basis of them promising that they would get my mold issue fixed ASAP and my home that I would be a priority to them because of the severity of the damage.
