I had a property that I had to clear title in litigation. I was the seller. Because of this, the company placed in the paperwork that I would be responsible for any future lawsuits on the property. This is even if I do not own it. According to my attorney, it is their job to insure a property and handle liabilities and they tried to push that on me.
