Drug addict
Service Pro does not communicate well (never answers the phone and voice mail always full). When I finally got a call back from them to repair a 6hp O/B on my sailboat they set up an appointment to pick it up two weeks latter. They never showed up nor did they respond to numerous queries posted through their website asking what was going on.
RecommendedNick is very knowledgeable and is definitely and expert in this kind of work. I would trust him to keep my motor running
Well, it's my company of course I recommend it.
If there was a 0 star option, that's what was earned. I was told that it would only take a week and it took 6 weeks. He spent more time sitting around smoking and drinking beer with his buddies then working on my boat. Then, when I went to pick it up a little piece broke and I asked him to fix it and I'll pick the boat up when it's fixed, but he started screaming and swearing at me and got up in my face. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD YOU USE THIS COMPANY. Horrible in every possible way!
Only place to go on the East Coast
Good people, reasonable pricing. Being in the industry myself and being able to call the "competition" for help speaks volumes to the character of Nick and his staff.
Spent $1300 over two visits with them for a carb rebuild, motor mounts, and a key switch i probably didn't even need on my 1989 30HP evinrude. Boat stalled out on the water within minutes after all and hasn't started up since, fuel is being delivered to carb, have spark, compression checks out so highly suspect a carb issue. Very simple engine, I'm done with the overcharging scam artists in this area and just buying a service manual and youtubing repairs from now on.
