Shameless that Service Master is a "preferred vendor" for our insurance company. I literally don't have one nice thing to say about them. They will never be welcome in my home again, and I would strongly recommend to anyone that asks me to avoid them if their insurance company says that's who they're sending. The worst part of our experience with this company was Troy, their project manager. He was rude, condescending, and took liberties by declaring what our insurance company would and would not cover. Very disappointing experience. Our insurance provider chose servicemaster last August when our basement flooded, work is still not done and they have went complete silent on us. They re-installed a carpet that was stained and with the nails from the Subfloor sticking out so you could feel it. Work hasn’t been completed and they have went complete silent, didn’t finish the work and didn’t give us part of the payout so we could do it ourselves. Claim is under my husbands name not mine.
Worst company! We had a flood in our basement and Service Master was scheduled to do the emergency work which included drying out the walls and setting up fans, as well as cutting out damaged dry wall and spraying chemicals. It’s been 6 weeks since the flood and SERVICE MASTER STILL HASN’T COME! What kind of emergency work is done almost 2 months later when things have already dried out themself!!! They jumped right in and started cleanup after the basement was flooded. They made a big effort. Very happy with them today
