My engine light came in at 49900 miles which is well within new vehicle warranty. Drove it in for service. By the time i reached service center mileage went over 50k. They immediately denied warranty claim and asked to charge around $1k. I purchased an X5 50e hybrid a month ago, and within the first week, I encountered an engine light warning. It took the service team three days to resolve the issue.
