I love how streamlined BMW is. I received a notification on my app that service was due and I was immediately connected to the service department nearest to my location. Plano had plenty of appointments open during my availability and I was able to schedule and add to my calendar with one click. My engine light came in at 49900 miles which is well within new vehicle warranty. Drove it in for service. By the time i reached service center mileage went over 50k. They immediately denied warranty claim and asked to charge around $1k. Been servicing my vehicle here for over 2 years and they didn't even bring a service manager to discuss a goodwill warranty option. Reached out to BMW NA corporate office to see my option. I purchased an X5 50e hybrid a month ago, and within the first week, I encountered an engine light warning. It took the service team three days to resolve the issue. By the second week, the car developed drivetrain and high-voltage engine problems, struggling to start.
