I have gone to Dr. for yearly screenings after having squamous cell carcinoma. Mid year, I noticed a fast growing spot on my collar bone. Dr. said it was just due to irritation and nothing to worry about. I didn't quite feel he listened to the fact that it wasn't there two weeks ago and I watched it grow daily and there was nothing different in my wardrobe to cause such irritation. He was wrong not to biopsy as had he would have found it to be actinic keratosis (pre cancer).
Not the best listeners I've visited several doctors in this building for various conditions. With the exception of Dr. Evans who is a retiring OB/GYN I found no one really listens to concerns. I've seen members of the family practice brush off a heart condition my mother suffered from and personally have been given medications that made no sense to me.
