I saw Dr. Smith Haxton for about 10 years. I started seeing her in high school. Over the years I had explained to her some concerning symptoms that I had, but she never cared to do anything more than tell me, “that’s normal, you’re normal.” I switched to JCMG and it took one appointment with them to identify all the cysts and lesions on my ovaries. Turns out debilitating pelvic pain is, in fact, not normal.
She didn’t prescribe prenatal vitamins, cut my bladder doing delivery, and she didn’t tie my tubes!
