My friend, Henry Michael O'Quin, came to Serenity about 4 months ago, from an assisted living facility. In the time he has been at Serenity, I have seen a marked improvement in his cognitive abilities. I suspect this is due to both better administration of his Parkinsons medications and more personal overall care, despite his having been on, medication administration and bathing programs at his previous location. One complaint that I have is the new medicine delivery. In my case it has more that doubled the cost for administration and the cost of the medicine more than tripled. I have not seen any improvement over the delivery system that it replaced. Other than the medication, my family is happy with the care that is given and know that my wife is in the best place she can be right now.
The owners and the staff do a great job in taking care of their elderly patients (if that is the right word). Both my mother and father in laws came to Serenity several years ago, my father -in -law has since passed, but my mother-in -law is still there as of 12/14/17, and my wife is well-pleased.
