I excepted more after having been there before a few years ago for my mom and being profoundly impressed (unfortunately she passed before she moved in). Just visited last week and it was after business hours so there was no manager to speak to and I didn't recognize any faces, but my entire impression was poor. My father has lived at Serenity Oaks for the last seven months, and we love the care he receives. My family and I moved him there after touring the facility, talking to the new owner, and visiting with the staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the kitchen is gleaming. We have often joined Dad for their monthly celebrations and activities, and the food is great. The owner and staff care for the residents. Stinks, saw multiple roaches inside, dog hair everywhere along with feces. They won’t take good care of your loved ones. Especially ones on hospice. Horrible facility don’t bring any of your family members here.
Under new ownership. Management and past owner no longer there. very unfortunate for all the residents and families involved
