Our 59 y.o. son, Gregory Fisher, was admitted to Serenity Lane detox 3-22-25. He was transported by ambulance to Peace Health Riverbend hospital from Serenity Lane on 3-23-25. Greg died in detox at Riverbend on 3-28-25 at 4:40 a.m. Greg was in end stage alcohol addiction. When his father dropped him off at Serenity detox, he was not allowed inside. The Family Program group therapy sessions were instrumental in helping me understand the disease of addiction and provided tools and resources in building trust & communication in the support of my loved one in recovery.
Serenity Lane gave me back my life. I am so grateful for the staff and my counselor Julie F. She is truly amazing and the best counselor I have EVER had. And I cant forget to mention my peers.
