My Father had an absolutely horrible experience with the owner here. I should have never trusted Vickie (the owner) with my Father. Learn from my mistake, take your loved one some place else. They will thank you!!! To respond to your response, He surely did not abuse you or your staff. Located on a quiet dirt road, with rolling hills and fields for the best country views, I can’t imagine a better place to be. With home cooked meals, never hospital grade and a vintage charm - this is a home not a facility. The staff loves their residents like their own and will always love and care for them in that manner in all stages of their lives.
As my mom aged, we discovered that she needed assistance with day-to-day tasks, now diagnosed with Parkinson’s and dementia she needs full assistance. We were so lucky to have made the connection with Serenity house. The staff is compassionate and caring of their residents and my mother. I would not know what to do without their full support. Mom was at Serenity House for several years before she passed away last October. The staff took great care of her and were always friendly and welcoming whenever we visited. We stopped in weekly and never saw any issues with their care of the residents. Mom did very well there and it was a perfect fit for her as it was a family home like setting. They were very helpful and empathetic when mom was dying and very helpful the entire time she was in their care. Our whole family recommends the facility.
The Serenity House assisted living home provided exceptional care for our grandmother during the years she lived there. The staff treated her and all the residents with kindness, respect, and warmth, making them feel like part of a big family.
