I picked up my Father's remains today and the man that I dealt with (I didn't get his name) was rude from the second we walked in the door. We were in the middle of their waiting room (which is rather large) and instead of coming out to greet us, this man leaned over from his desk chair, looked out the doorway of his office and asked what he could do for us. My brother has been missing for over 5 years. Last Friday, I recieved a call from our hometown parish that our family attended in the 1970s-80s, informing me they found our brother. We have not lived there since 1984. The Lucas County Coroner put an ad in the Toledo Blade looking for family. The funeral home who buried our parents found the ad and we never asked to do this because we did not know where he was at. Rich was beyond respectful during this difficult time. He came to my house to deal with the paperwork and happily came back that same day to pick my my Dads favorite Michigan hat, something he absolutely needed to have with him for cremation. I was on a tight timeline with being in Michigan before I had to travel home to Nevada. He made sure I had my Dads remains, with a permit, and his memorial flag for his military service before I left, I think it was a 4 days. I worked here. Clean, organized, and very respectful. Found out my own family was actually cremated there and was very happy to learn this. Definitely best around.
