This is more like a hotel than assisted living. No activities in the evening, very little on weekends. There's no open rooms where a group of people can hang out etc. There's no door code so when you come back after hours it's a guessing game on when someone will let you in. Might be a good place for people doesn't want out of their room much. So disappointing
Disappointed in administration changes. Lack of compassion and empathy towards residents and their families. My sister-in-law was a resident at Serenity for 1&1/2 years. She recently passed. The facility was always clean and welcoming. The staff was professional, compassionate, and patient. I would not hesitate to recommend Serenity for any family facing an assisted living decision for a loved one.
My mother lived on Assisted Living side and before she needed to transition to the memory care unit. Overall she was here a year and a half before her medical needs exceeded the care offered, but I wish she could have stayed. She had so much fun and made friends. She ate well, enjoyed music and art as well as other activities. Staff knew her and I knew the staff. A homey environment - not institutional. Go live here!
