I love this place! It’s a relic of the past. Yes rustic and somewhat earthy, but the hot tub views are stunning and I found the owner to be very friendly. It does need upgrades , some rooms are musty tho no mold. They don’t make em like this anymore
My husband and I were going to stay here but the space smelled like ashtray and the carpet had several burn marks and holes, along with just being severely worn. Then there was the safety issues. There were exposed wiring in multiple places. When we informed the manager they refused to do anything and then accuseed us of the damage. They wouldn't refund the reservation, so I contacted my credit card company to reverse the charges and left. We didn't stay and we had to find another place for the night. It's true these cabins are old and need some work. But they were comfortable and clean with plenty of fire food. And surrounded by a beautiful area and ocean. We plan to return again. And really enjoyed it
The Colt cottage was probably great once but now is needing help. The million dollar view is hidden behind overgrown hedges, the couch is worn as well as the towels and bedding. The plumbing is bad and the toilet got clogged with no help available. The owner lied and said we put food in it and would not reimburse us for the 2nd night as we could not stay as it flooded the kitchen. Terrible vacation. Be warned.
