Excellent place to stop for lunch after hiking at Discovery Park. We had the Serendipity Salad, the salad + soup combo, a vegetarian burrito, and a gluten free tuna melt. Everything was delicious. We especially liked how everything was well seasoned, even the tuna melt had some paprika and other spices on it.
5 stars in everything. I loved the potatoes. My son definitely got entertained with the play area.

Located in an affluent satellite suburb northwest of downtown Seattle, Serendipity Cafe, advertised as a family friendly restaurant seemed more like a bar with poor lighting. Maybe there are two separate sections and I missed the main dining area, because I was seated in a booth by the bar. It was mid afternoon when most restaurants can be slow but the place was empty.
