Edit: I'm surprised this business thinks the amount was similar to what you get in Sri Lanka. Maybe Negombo is just more generous? My Sri Lankan husband has more experience and he was disappointed too. The worst thing is forgetting the gravy. Without the gravy it was maybe worth $10. We ordered hours in advance so I don't really see how they could "forget". But I usually love kottu without gravy in Sri Lanka and when my husband makes it. What we got the flavor was just salt. i'm srilankan and Kottu is of my favorite foods. I've had a lot of different kottu from many different places in Sri Lanka. The amount was very small for the price. Surprisingly it was the worst I've had."Kottu" word mentioned in oxford dictionary for a reason. It should be really good or at least avarage if you make this dish internationaly. People who don't know how this dish tastes might like your food but they won't taste any of the authentic taste on that dish so should improve your kottu(කොත්තු) dish. We ordered chick... read more

Chicken kottu was very small, a bit salty, very little flavor outside of being salty. No curry with it. Really tiny pieces of chicken. Wasn't really like kottu. Taste was okay just nothing much there.

We ordered chicken kottu and we didn't receive any chicken curry with it, and the portion was small. It was less than half a kottu and there was barely any chicken. It was kinda salty too..And the kottu was pretty average tasting. On the good side, the ingredients seem good but they need to add more spices on it. Kottu is something very special for Sri Lankans, hopefully they improve its authenticity.
