Sequoyah Memorial Hospital: is the worst hospital in Oklahoma My mother went to the E.R. last night (03/18/2026) for pain in her sholder and back. They would not allow me back where my mom was. My mother was even asking where i was. Finally a nurse brought me back to her. The so called doctor was just a kid, maybe 24 years old with little to no experience. Don’t recommend going here, if you can go to fort smith ER or the urgent care in sallisaw. I won’t be bringing none of my babies nor myself back. Brought my 3 yr old in with a fever and coughing they tell me respiratory infection and Tylenol or Motrin took her for a second opinion to her pediatrician this morning they tell me it’s a virus and give her antibiotics steroid and an inhaler. Sallisaw hospital would give zero stars if that was an option.
Save yourself the trouble & Go to Poteau instead. I've made the mistake of going 2 different times. They treat people like liars, but lie to you & Lord forbid you're a Dad & your kid gets hurt because it MUST obviously be the Dad's fault. Thanks for not giving me the doctor's note that my son needed, eventhough you said you would & never had any intention on doing, I may have went a 3rd time.
Definitely in pain unsure why they don’t understand that 😔 lady on front desk shift start at 6:30 sept 11 . Was so rude . Acted like she just hated her job and hated that walked in . I totally understand people have bad days but good lord lady your work at an er put a smile on your face or something at least pretend your happy. 0-10
