As one of the major shareholders of Shanghai HouBank Finance (a P2P finance company named 上海厚本金融) in China, many people have invested heavily in HouBank Finance because of their trust in Sequoia Capital. But recently (August 2019) Houben Finance was shut down by police for violations and many families lost their lifetime savings overnight. Sequoia Capital, as if nothing happened, does not take any responsibility to investors. Don’t trust this platform. Don’t trust Sequoia Capita.
